PMBOK® Guide-based Risk Management Course

Description

This course introduces students to the Risk Management concepts. The course uses information from PMBOK® Guide and PRINCE2® but does not go in depth into these standards.

Starting from the Risk Management process, involving Risk Planning, Risk Identification, Risk Response Planning and Risk Monitoring and Control, the necessary techniques are clarified. The course uses a case story throughout the course to gradually get a better view on how risks can be identified and managed. A lot of attention is also spent on correctly identifying risks. Poor risk descriptions are a common source of problems in order to define risk responses afterwards.

Students will have a good understanding of the Risk Management process and the techniques necessary in the different process steps. During the course the student will also receive several work files that can be used to boost Risk Management in their own projects.
